Dr. Claudia Christman, a board certified physician in Emergency Medicine, began her medical career as a nurse in the U.S. Army. In 1990, Dr. Christman entered the University of Nevada School of Medicine where she qualified for induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society due to her scholarly achievements, leadership and dedication to serving others. She completed her residency training in Emergency Medicine at the University of California, Davis. Prior to opening Mālama Pono Health Care in 2005, Dr. Christman was a staff physician in the Emergency Department of Kona Community Hospital.
Dr. Christman’s career path has forged an experienced medical professional who combines outstanding medical care with the many intangible factors that contribute to a positive health care experience.
